Now taking orders for the Flat-Man XL!
The Flat-Man XL
The Flat-Man XL, our 18" x 18" observatory mounted flat field panel has been in use by customers for six months with rave reviews. This panel delivers incredibly even flats. We have found that we can get flat fields that have illumination across the field with less than 0.1% variation from the average value!
We now have several customer's installations at our gallery. Check it out.
This is a stationary electroluminescent panel with serial brightness control. Only 1" deep, this unit mounts to the observatory wall, or stand, perpendicular to the telescope park position. Also fully integrated into CCD Autopilot.
You can see some images of the testing rig and read more about the Flat-Man XL here.
We can make versions up to 32" x 32", so let us know what you need.
